Matias Loyola is an attorney with the Law Office of Ken Melrose, where he represents plaintiffs in a broad range of personal injury and civil litigation matters, including automobile accidents, products liability, premises liability, medical malpractice, and beyond.
Prior to entering civil practice, Mr. Loyola served as a prosecutor, where he tried over 15 cases to verdict, including both jury and bench trials, across a wide range of criminal matters including domestic violence, gang violence, armed robbery, and serious felony assault. That experience instilled a disciplined, trial-ready approach that he brings to every case he handles on behalf of injured clients.
Mr. Loyola earned his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he distinguished himself academically, receiving the CALI Award for Excellence in Criminal Procedure and achieving the highest score in Legal Research and Writing. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2022.
Outside the courtroom, Mr. Loyola is a dedicated health and fitness enthusiast and a former professional musician, music teacher, and performer, pursuits that reflect the same discipline, precision, and commitment he applies to his legal practice.
