Kenneth Melrose

Dedicated to helping every client get the care and compensation they deserve.

Kenneth Melrose went to law school believing he wanted to spend his life advising businesses, and overseeing complex financial transactions, but as he spent more and more time watching battles within the courtroom, listening to judges deciphering the law and reading about great trial attorneys like Joe Jamail, and Richard “Race Horse” Haynes, he felt drawn to the high stakes and cerebral nature of trial practice.

After obtaining a coveted second-year clerkship with a local law firm, and graduating early, he passed the Utah and California bar examinations, initially working for a variety of firms in areas such as real estate development, commercial litigation, finance, criminal defense, legal malpractice and general civil litigation. In late 2019, he started his own practice, and for the last several years, has been a dedicated personal injury attorney in a diverse practice consisting of wrongful death cases, medical malpractice, pharmaceutical defect, product liability, legal malpractice, toxic tort, and automobile negligence cases.

In those few short years, he has obtained multi-million dollar settlements, several six figure verdicts, an eight million dollar verdict in 2023 and a ten million dollar verdict in 2024 that received national attention. He is unafraid to take on powerful corporate defendants, including Kia, Kaiser Permanente, Johnson and Johnson, Monsanto and others.

He enjoys the challenges that come from solving complex legal problems, but most of all, enjoys working with his clients, spending time getting to know them, and understanding both their case and who they are as people.

When he’s not practicing law, he can be found with his wife, and his three sons at the lake or camping.
